Tiffin, Ohio – The owner of a new experience-based business is excited to help the people of Tiffin and Seneca County connect with their creative side.
Studio 605 Fine Art, located in the heart of downtown Tiffin on the second floor of the Laird Building, 120 1/2 S. Washington St., Suite 215, Tiffin, will open on December 14.
The company allows groups of people aged 10 and over to come together for acrylic and canvas painting parties. Events can include birthdays, bachelorette parties, team building exercises and any other group, and the company allows people to bring drinks to the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Zone (DORA) for adults.
Owner April Clay has always had a love for art and has found solace in artistic creation as therapy. It was this and the recent creation of the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission that helped her decide to continue her activity. “I am so happy to have the opportunity to share my passion with the community and to help people get excited about creating art. “

In 2021, Tiffin Community Reinvestment Group, owner of the Laird Building, made a significant investment in the property, including building updates, small renovation projects and a new light panel for the building, which was supported by a grant from the Town of Tiffin’s Signage Improvement Program and recently celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony by the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce.
This year, five companies in addition to Studio 605 moved into the building, including 5K Construction, Hope’s Landing, JT’s Bagel Bar, Tiffin Youth Football and Yours with Every Stitch. Additionally, Jolly’s, which has been in the building since 2017, recently became a new owner.
